Mid-May Senior Wrap-up

Six rounds into the season, both our Men’s and Women’s Championship sides are playing some great football.

Our Women’s Championship team triumphed in last week’s mid-week contest against Taroona, coming out 2-1 victors.  This puts them fourth on the ladder, only behind Taroona and Clarence on goal difference.

Our PFD Super League team is currently on a break in fixtures until June, they currently sit in second place on the ladder.

Our Men’s Championship team suffered their first loss of the season, with a 4-0 away result to Taroona.  This puts them now in third place, trailing the leaders Glenorchy Knights by only a single point.

Our Challenge League team come off the weekend with a commanding 3-1 victory over Clarence at home, this cements their spot in the top four as they keep pace with Olympia and Hobart Zebras in second and third spots.

Looking forward to this weekend, our Women face Clarence away from home on Sunday, a victory would see them rise to at least third place.  Our Men play Southern FC at home also on Sunday, looking to regain their winning form and put pressure on the competition leaders.
